My Story,  So Far . . .

Hey there — I’m David.

I was born in the U.S., grew up with Czech roots, and these days I’m based in Australia. That mix of places and cultures has shaped the way I see stories — with curiosity, openness, and a love for capturing moments that feel real.

I’m a Director of Photography, and cinematography is where my passion really lies. I love working on projects that range from short films and music videos to commercials and creative ideas that don’t quite fit into a box. For me, it’s about more than just the image — it’s about building an atmosphere and a feeling that stays with you.

Outside of set life, I still carry my camera everywhere. Photography lets me slow down and appreciate the smaller things — golden light on the coast, road trips with friends, or moments that just feel like home. Some of those moments end up as fine art prints, a way to share a bit of that energy with others.

At the core, I’m pretty down-to-earth. I enjoy working with good people, collaborating, and bringing ideas to life. If you’ve got a project in mind, I’d love to be part of making it happen.
